Week 6
This week we have been learning about water and trying to answer the statement "Water is..."
We have been experimenting with floating and sinking as well as writing about water and exploring water outside in our play. We also explored and learnt about solid and liquids when making yogurt ice lollies. We tried to melt the ice with warm water from the sink and even felt what it was like on our feet.
We also explored ice 🧊 adding colour to it with paint as it defrosted. We also made yogurt ice lollipops which were delicious.
In maths we have been learning about making maps. We created obstacle course maps and then went outside to build them and use them. We had some great team work and cooperation when working together.
On Tuesday, we had a fantastic India day learning how to Bollywood dance, recapping previous learning from our project, having henna, eating curry for lunch and listening to sitar music 🎶
