Week 6
This week the children have been learning all about shadows and reflections! We have explored the difference between opaque and transparent materials, made and tested our own shadow puppets and searched for and made our own shadows outside, although the weather wasn't very kind to us. The children have also made their own sun catchers using a variety of materials! They look amazing hanging up in our classroom window and paint beautiful colours as the light shines through them.
In Maths we have been learning about using shapes such as triangles and squares to make other shapes. The children worked together to rotate and select shapes to make other shapes!
