We had a wonderful morning on Monday exploring signs of Autumn out on the field.
The children have been learning about woodland animals, their habitats, and which ones hibernate. We used clay and sunflower seeds to create hedgehogs and enjoyed listening to Autumn-themed stories.
We’ve also been learning about repeating patterns, using natural autumn objects to create our own.
As part of our Pathways to Poetry, we’ve been learning and performing nursery rhymes—both in small groups and independently.
