Using a dictionary/the internet, research these terms and write your own definition.

Can you label these pictures as predator or prey? Can any of them be both? Can you include any other labels e.g. apex predator?

Research lesson:

Use the web to find out about ferocious insect predators, such as assassin bugs, tiger beetles, dragonflies and antlions. Find information about what they eat, where they live and how they catch their prey. Make notes on a piece of paper for use next week.
