Week 3
This week we went for a walk around the school to meet different people who help us and are apart of the school community. Different children took photographs using the Ipad. We also spent time using our listening ears to listen to different sounds instruments made. We used the instruments to add sound effects to 'We're going on a bear hunt.'
We have also been exploring different technology in the classroom - playing games on the interactive board, using the ipad and take photographs and listen to music.
Mr Averis also visited the class this week to introduce himself. He brought his own 'me in a box' to share with the children.
We have started to read our Pathways to write story this week and have been learning about bed time routines, listening to noises we might hear at night time and what nocturnal means.
We enjoyed a game of "This is the way we go to bed" and created actions for brushing our teeth, washing our hair and climbing into bed.
The children also made beds using duplo and used the other creative resources to make pillows, duvets, books and ladders to climb up on to a bunk bed.
It's been a busy week and we are all ready for a long sleep! zzzzzzzzzzz
