Week 3
This week we have continued to learn about the three little pigs story and the children are writing some amazing words and captions using the graphemes they have been taught.
We also had a letter from the Three Billy Goats Gruff! The troll had smashed the bridge down and the children had to work in teams to build a new stronger one. The children have also made wanted posters and put them all around the classroom. Some of the children had an idea of making a trap so that the troll can't hurt anyone. We built lots of bridges outside too and practiced our positional language.
We have also been shape detectives this week looking for circles and triangles. We explored and used materials to make our own Kandinsky inspired picture.
