Week 4
This week we have continued to think about our family community. The children have talked about their families and who is special to them. We have also been painting members of our families and using stones to create family pictures.
We also invited ur mums, dads, grans and grandads to come and join us for a school lunch. The children were able to show their grown up just how independent they have become in just 4 weeks.
We have also enjoyed singing lots of number songs that count backwards from 5. We enjoyed pretending to be the five little speckled frogs and used the puppets to act it out.
In Peace at Last we have been talking about the bear's house and what rooms Daddy bear goes to when he can't sleep. We then drew or built the house and added some labels.
We have also been focusing on name writing and scissor skills this week.
