Week 6
This week we have been learning about people who help us in our community.
The fire engine came and it was great to try on their safety gear, climb inside the engine and learn about their job helping the community. On Tuesday a vet and a police officer came to school to tell us about their jobs.
We also enjoyed lots of role play activities pretending to be a police officer, dentist, hairdresser, doctor, nurse or fire officer. We made maps of our local community adding on key places we know like school, St Peter's, the river gardens and shops.
In maths we were sorting and matching button and socks.
WOW!!!! What a week!
