Week 6
This week we have been leaning all about the people who help us in our community. We were very excited when a Fire Engine came to school and we got to explore it! We also had visitors from the police and a vet and learnt all about the people who help us in our local communnity. Reverend Anne visited too and spoke to the children about her job at the church and within the Belper community.
We have also been roleplaying as the many different people who help us such as Doctors, Nurses, Dentists, Police officers and Fire officers. We have learnt all about the emergency services and the important jobs they do!
In our outdoor area, we have been focusing on how to ride and negotiate space using the bikes and trikes.
