A letter will be coming home today to all parents of children in Year 5 and Year 6 regarding Belper School's Open Evening on Thursday 30th September which they have, unfortunately, had to postpone.
Please check bookbags for the letter with the information they need to share with you. This will also be uploaded to the year group pages.
Thank you.

Well done and many thanks to the 43 families or groups that have been making scarecrows for the PTFA scarecrow trail.
You are all now invited to walk the trail and collect the names of the scarecrows to enter the PTFA competition.
This is a free event - entry forms and a trail map can be picked up from the scarecrows at the front of school.

Year 6 parents and families are able to apply for secondary school places for September 2022 from Monday 13th September 2021.
Year 6 children will be bringing home information on Friday 10th September to help with this application. Applications need to be made online at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/admissions or by ringing 01629 533190.
All parents of Y6 children at St. John's need to apply for a secondary school place by midnight on Sunday 31st October 2021.
We have two vacancies for people that want to come and join our team. Both are term time only and would ideally suit someone that wants to work whilst their children are at school.

After a lovely first two days back at school can we please remind parents -
Unfortunately Mrs. Robinson is unable to return to school tomorrow. I am pleased to share that Miss. McConnachie will be teaching this class from tomorrow.
Miss McConnachie is a qualified teacher and an experienced member of St. John's staff who has worked with us for several years and therefore knows all of the children in the class. She has been in school for several days over the holiday preparing the classroom for the children and is looking forward to getting to know them tomorrow.
I am sure you join me in thanking Miss McConnachie in making personal arrangements to come and teach full time at St. John's and give the children the stable start to the new school year that they deserve.
Good afternoon.
We look forward to welcoming you all back to school tomorrow after your summer holiday.
