The 'Muddy Church' will take place on our school field at 10am instead of the regular service normally held in church.

  • Cashless School

    Fri 19 May 2023

    Cashless School

We are very pleased to be able to share that after the half term holiday we are going to begin the process of becoming a cashless school. There are many benefits to this that will really help families and school when paying for dinners and school trips.

The first stage will be for all junior children to be able to pay for their school dinners after the half term holiday. We will then, hopefully, move to accepting cashless payments for other aspects of school life, such as school trips, after the summer holidays in September.

On Tuesday 23rd May all junior children will be bringing home a letter with a unique, individual log on number for every family. Please make sure that you check your child's bag for this letter on Tuesday evening. Once you get this letter you will be able to set up your account.

Infant children don't pay for their school dinners as all infant children have universal infant free school meals. Parents of infant children will receive their letters when we move to cashless paying for school trips and visits.

  • Parent governor opportunity

    Fri 24 Mar 2023

Mrs. Karen Clark is one of our parent governors. She joined the governing body on the 1st May 2019, her term of office is due to finish on 1st May 2023. Karen would like to carry on in her role of parent governor. However, whenever a parent governor term of office ends all parents have an opportunity to express an interest in joining the governing body.

As Karen would like to continue, any parents that does put their name forward would then enter a ballot with Karen. All parents would then get to vote on who should join our governing body for the next four years. We would hold this ballot after the easter holidays.

Parents that would like to find out more about the role of governor are invited to go to our website where you will find further links and a parent nomination form. CLICK HERE.

We would then need to have your nominations received in school by 12pm on Friday 31st March. Please send them to the school office in a sealed envelope addressed for the attention of the Chair of Governors.
