We published a letter last week with information about the annual flu vaccination program that all children are invited to take part in.
Parents and carers that want their child to have the vaccination nasal spray need to register their child by clicking on the link that is in the letter. CLICK HERE.
The extension date for signing up has been extended to October 3rd.
Good morning everyone,

Please bring along a notebook/paper and pen if you would like to take your own notes and we would really appreciate it if you could complete a short feedback form at the end of the workshop.

Compass Changing Lives Free Parent Workshop
Thursday 26th September 2 p.m.
Thank you so much to the many parents who have replied to confirm your attendance at this free workshop. MHST: Compass changing Lives staff are really looking forward to meeting you all next week.
Don't worry If you missed the deadline for returning the slip. Due to the number of parents that have responded this wil be held in the school hall which means we have capacity for more if you'd still like to join us.
Monday 23rd September is the final deadline so that I can confirm numbers with the team to ensure they can prepare the amount of handouts required.
Thank you.
Mrs Carvell
We are looking forward to the first PTFA meeting of the year. This will be held at school on Thursday 26th September, starting at 7pm.
This is an important meeting as the present team are stepping down from their roles of chair, treasurer and secretary. Many thanks to Coral, Bek and Jo who have supported the school for two years in these roles. If anyone wants to take these roles they are invited to get in touch with the team stjohnsptfa@hotmail.co.uk.
Without a team we will not have events such as the yearly cinema trip, presents from Santa for nursery and reception children, the living eggs, book bag bears, the bark area, Viking coins , year 6 prom and many more that are either run or funded by the PTFA.
It is great to have all the children back in school today and find out what they have been doing this holiday.
We have published a map to help parents and carers picking up their children at the end of the day - CLICK HERE.
Please also remember that tomorrow morning all children in years 1 to 6 will walk straight to their classrooms and not line up on the playground like they did today. Their teachers will be waiting for them in the classrooms.
We are all looking forward to welcoming the children back to school tomorrow on Wednesday 4th September. The school gate will open at 8.50am.
On Wednesday, teachers will be waiting on the playground for the children from 8.50am. Children need to line up in front of their new teacher. Once your child is in their line, parents and carers are asked to leave the playground. At 9.00am teachers will lead the children to their classrooms.
On Thursday morning we will return to normal and children will walk straight into their classes at the start of the day, where their teachers will be waiting for them.
