  • Safeguarding update for parents

    Thu 09 Oct 2025

We have been made aware that several titles in the Spy DogsSpy Pup, and Spy Cat series by Andrew Cope contain a weblink at the back of the book that no longer directs people to information about the books. Instead, the link has been compromised and now leads to inappropriate and unsafe material, containing pornographic content with no age restrictions.

We are removing copies of the book from our school library

We advise you do the same. Should any be the property of the school, please return them and we will dispose of them accordingly.

  • Flu immunisation update

    Mon 06 Oct 2025

Flu immunisation update – published on Monday 6th October 2025

The school health team have let us know that, due to a number of parental enquiries, they have extended the timeline that parents at St. John’s have to register their child for the flu vaccination.

Registration has been re-opened and will now close at 11.30pm on Wednesday 8th October.

The medical team will be at St. John’s on Friday 10th October and all children, who have parental consent, will be able to have the vaccination. Parents can choose if they want their child to have the nasal spray or injection. The medical team advise the nasal spray is the most effective.

Parents and carers, who haven’t given consent yet, are invited to give consent by following this link

Parents that have any questions are invited to read the message that we gave to families in our weekly email on Friday 12th September. CLICK HERE.
