    Christmas Events and Information

    Annual PTFA Treat
We are delighted to share that children in Year 1 and above will enjoy a PTFA-funded Christmas pantomime in school on the morning of Friday, 12th December. There is no cost for this event. Many thanks to the PTFA fir funding our annual treat.

    Nativity Tickets
Each child in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 will receive two tickets per performance. Tickets will be sent home in the coming weeks. Preschool children may attend without a ticket but may need to sit on an adult’s lap. Dates for all nativity plays are listed on the school calendar.
Please note: No tickets are required for the Nursery Nativity on Thursday, 18th December. All parents and carers are welcome. Mrs Gallen will provide further details to nursery families.

    Festive Uniform
During the final week of term, children may add festive accessories to their uniform, such as headbands or hair ties. Until then, normal school uniform should be worn.

    Christmas Jumper Day
On Wednesday, 17th December, children are invited to wear a Christmas jumper for our Christmas dinner day. We also encourage pupils to earn a little pocket money by helping at home and bring a small donation to support our friends at Scott Lane School in Kolkata.

    Carol Concert
Our annual carol concert will take place on Monday, 15th December at 7:00 pm at St Peter’s Church. No tickets are required. All families are warmly invited to join us for this traditional celebration, featuring our school choir and Heage Brass Band.

    Christmas Gifts for Staff
We understand the financial pressures many families face and want to reassure you that staff do not expect gifts. Please do not purchase presents for staff. Instead, we encourage you to use any money you might have spent on gifts for your children or donate to a charity of your choice.
This policy will also apply at the end of the school year in July 2026. If you would still like to show appreciation, homemade cards or letters are always welcome and greatly valued.

    Christmas Post Office
Children bringing Christmas cards to school can post them in our designated post boxes. Please ensure the recipient’s name and class are clearly written on the envelope.

Challenge Yourself to 25 for Children in Need

We’re looking forward to celebrating Children in Need Day on Friday 14th November, and as you know we have a fun-filled day planned to help raise money for this important cause.

Here is a reminder that children are invited to come to school in non-uniform and enjoy a cake sale in the afternoon—a great way to treat themselves while supporting charity with their donations!

In addition to these activities, all children will be taking part in our exciting Challenge Yourself to 25. Each year group will complete a fun challenge themed around the number 25—whether it’s 25 minutes of movement, 25 acts of kindness, or something else creative!

If families would like to get involved at home to help raise even more money, children can be sponsored to complete their challenge. A sponsorship form with all the information you need is here for you.

Thank you for your continued support. Together, we can make a real difference!
