We are looking forward to seeing lots of families at the Christmas Fayre on Friday 20th, from 5pm to 8pm.
There will be lots of stalls for you to enjoy, including craft and games stalls as well as opportunities to purchase food, (hot turkey rolls) and drinks, with mulled wine on sale for the adults.
There are over 90 excited children looking forward to seeing Santa, but unfortunately we have now sold out of tickets. Sorry.
Thank you for all the donations we are getting, we have had lots of cups come back full of sweets, but we still need some extra donations for the tombola stall please.
For those parents and carers who like to pay for the whole term's dinners in advance, the amount this term is £68 if your child has dinners every day (7 week term with 1 inset day on Friday 27th November). Thank you.
Severn Trent have let us know that they will be carrying out work along Laund Nook for 3 weeks beginning 2nd November. Please be aware of this when driving around school as there will be disruption.
They have assured us that water supply to St. John's will not be affected.
This year we will once again be supporting The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
If you would like your child to make a donation for a poppy, please send the donation in an envelope between Monday 2nd November and Wednesday November 11th (or until there are no poppies left!) when our Year 6 children will be visiting each class with the poppy boxes.

Even though it is still 11 months away, parents of children in year 6 who will be starting secondary school in September 2016, need to apply for their place at their secondary school before November 2015.
