Good afternoon
Many thanks to all parents who helped prepare their children for school today by talking about social distancing and showing pictures of how school looks. The children were excellent, well prepared and ready to work and play in their new bubbles.
It was a pleasure to be at St. John's today with more children back at school. Your children really are the 'beating heart' of St. John's. After 8 weeks of partial opening with only 10 to 50 children attending every day it was fantastic to have 150 children back, bringing life to our building.
As always, we will continue to follow government advice and look forward to when we are able to safely open to more children. We do not know when this will be, or how we will be asked to do it, but as soon as we do, we will share it with parents on our website.

Thanks you to parents that completed the attendance form. We are now able to share information about our plans for June 1st.
A second letter has been published with information now that we know 151 children require a place.

All parents need to read it and then complete the online attendance survey.
We have now added three INSET days to the school calendar for school year 2020-2021. CLICK HERE for the school calendar with more information.

Tuesday 1st September 2020
Thursday 22nd October 2020
Friday 23rd October 2020
Two more INSET days need to be added. We will share the dates with you as soon as we have them.
Please can all children that are attending school during the partial closure let us know by completing the Daily Attendance Form.
This needs completing by 4.00pm the day before you need to send your child to school
