A reminder that our Year 6 PGL Information Meeting for Parents will be held on Monday 11th June at 5:30 p.m. in our school hall.
During this meeting, we intend to provide you with all the information you need, distribute kit lists to help you prepare what the children will need and consent forms for you to complete prior to this thoroughly enjoyable and memorable residential. There will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions and provide us with any information you feel we need to know.
We anticipate that this meeting will take no longer than 30 minutes. If you are unable to attend, don't worry as all information will be sent home with your child on Tuesday 12th June.

We are looking to recruit a motivated and keen new member of staff to join our team of over five hundred children and sixty-five staff.
This new role for the school has been created by our desire to further help all our children achieve to their full potential. The successful candidate will help children by supporting them and their families in overcoming any medical, health and welfare problems that are preventing effective learning taking place.

I am pleased to inform you that the postponed visit by the NSPCC to deliver the Speak out. Stay safe. programme in the Autumn Term has now been rearranged for the Summer Term.
This nationwide programme is delivered to ensure our pupils have the knowledge and understanding they need to stay safe from abuse. With the help of their friendly mascot Buddy, they’ll be presenting an assembly to all of the children in our school on Wednesday 11th April, as well as a workshop for Years 5 and 6 on Thursday 12th April.

You may have seen a recent County Council planning application for the development of the school buildings at St. John’s. The local authority has identified St. John’s as their proposed site to develop to respond to projected increased demand for school places.
