  • School Uniform

    Fri 14 Sep 2018

We have been told today that Children's Choice will be closing their shop in Belper in a couple of weeks as they move their business to a new premises, launch a new online purchasing system and become part of Loop schoolwear.

Over the coming weeks we will be able to share more information as we get it, however we have been assured that Loop Schoolwear still want to serve the St. John's communty and that they look forward to hosting 'pop up' shops at events at school.

The new shop will be based in Ilkeston and all information about Loop Schoolwear and their online ordering system can be found on their website. CLICK HERE.

Please be assured that we remain commited to ensuring that school uniform is still easily and readily available at a reasonable price, whilst still hopefully supporting a local business.

  • Infant sport afternoon help required

    Tue 03 Jul 2018

Sport afternoon - gazebo help required again - we had lots of brilliant support last week

We hope to have our Infant Sport afternoon on Friday 6th July as planned. However, the weather forecast is for continued hot weather and we need to ensure that we have enough shade for us to enjoy an exciting and safe afternoon.

For the sport afternoon to go ahead we need to have at least 15 gazebos set up on the playing field. With the shade that these and the trees provide we will be able to have children and families sit safely in the shade whilst not racing.

If you are able to bring a gazebo to school and put it up on the playing field on Friday morning before 1pm please ring school to let Mrs. Howis know as soon as possible. Once we have had 15 offers of help we will be able to confirm that sport afternoon can carry on. You will then need to take down your gazebo at the end of the afternoon at 3.30pm.

If we have not had 15 offers of help by 9.30am on Thursday morning and the forecast is still for hot weather we will unfortunately have to postpone infant sport afternoon.
