Children are bringing home a letter today with information about our sport afternoons that will take place on Friday 28th June for the juniors and Friday 5th July for the infants.
Due to building work we will be using the gate from Dovedale Crescent to the school field.
Parents and visitors will not be able to access the sport day from Laund Nook.

Please can all parents that read the letter make sure that grandparents, uncles, aunties and all friends that are coming, know that they need to make their way to Dovedale Crescent (DE56 1HL) to come and see the sport afternoon races. They will not be able to come from Laund Nook, through the school building, onto the field.
We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause and thank you for your support in this small change which we have put in place to ensure the safety of the children at St. John's.
We look forward to welcoming David Wood to school on Wednesday 26th June from the Diocese of Derbyshire. David is in school to lead our church inspection. Every five years we are inspected by the Diocese who help ensure that we are recognising and celebrating our Christian foundations and values.
We will share the inspection report as soon as possible.
